Overview

Ideally situated in the centre of the village off the cobbled part of Napier Street this very popular luxury property accommodates five persons in three bedrooms.

As you enter the property via a central corridor you pass the air-conditioned queen bedroom on one side and single bedroom plus shared bathroom on the other. The entertaining heart of the property is open plan with six seater dining area, comfortable living space, fireplace and fully fitted kitchen that all overlook the private enclosed fountain court-yard. A staircase takes you to the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and opens out onto its own private terrace with Jacuzzi.

Spiral stairs are accessed from the large first floor dressing room area and take you up to this great roof deck with 360 degree views of Table Mountain, Signal Hill and the city.

This property can also be internally connected to its neighbour, 40 Napier Street, so is ideal for large groups as it can then cater for nine persons.

Important:

Please take note that 53 Napier Street (opposite behind trees and privacy fencing) is doing building work.

All builders in Cape Town have specific working hours which are weekdays (excluding public holidays) from 7.30am to 5.30pm and Saturdays 8am to 1pm.

These builders have advised us they will work 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday’s 7.30am to 3pm. Saturday’s maximum working hours 8am to 3pm. At present we are being told completion date is towards the end of 2016.

Though there could be noise disruptions the private courtyard is not over-looked by 53 Napier Street.

The rate advertised is discounted and compensates for the any noise inconvenience caused; this special rate does not change if there are no disruptions. All builders take annual holiday from around mid-December to mid-January (this year it could be from the 12th Dec to 11th Jan); our normal Peak Season rates will still apply.

At this stage we have no further information but of course will update when we get it.

As an extra service, and separate to the accommodation rate, this cottage does have free WiFi when available. Please refer to our FAQ section on “internet access”.
