HQ Restaurant

Heritage Square has a modern take on combining South African red meat culture with historical European sophistication. Steaks are grain-fed and complementary sauces are specific to European cuisine. This steakhouse appeals to all through its daily specials including two-for-one Mondays, Tuesday Date Nights, and Friday Feels for some dancing after dinner.

Perfectly nestled in the heart of Cape Town within Heritage Square, HQ is easily accessible via main roads, and opens from the early afternoon until late, six days a week.

Nelson’s Eye

Around since the 1960s, Nelson’s Eye is popular for its old school feel and top-tier steak selections. Not shy about portion sizes, Nelson serves 600-gram sirloin, rump and T-bone steaks, and up to 900-gram stacks of ribs. Boasting high-grade and grain-fed beef, Nelson’s Eye has a keen focus on the quality of its 21-day wet aged steaks.

Nelson’s Eye is situated in Gardens, and opening hours cater mainly to dinner from 18:30 until late, and lunch is served only from Wednesday to Friday between 12:30 and 15:00. The restaurant is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and public holidays.

The Hussar Grill

The Hussar Grill is an award-winning restaurant group and industry leader. Boasting more than 45 years’ experience in venison and high-grade beef options, the restaurant is also commended on its friendly service where wait staff are trained in-house. The menu is filled with highlights, including the Hussar Carpetbagger and the Game Steak. Game options change from time to time based on availability. The Hussar Grill is a household name, and has expanded its restaurant to cover six regions within the Western Cape province alone.
