La Parada/Harbour House
A brand new addition to Constantia thanks to Harbour House Group is Bar de Tapas La Parada and Harbour House Restaurant, which was once known as the Constantia Nek Restaurant. Still housed in the original building, it has been revamped with contemporary décor and new menus and now offers two different dining experiences under the Constantia Nek name. The Harbour House is a somewhat understated eatery in décor offering a classic menu and a space that can seat between 80 and 100 people. La Parada offers an entirely different set-up with modern interiors and encourages a more social eating experience with starters, mains and desserts focused on sharing.
A fun activity for all ages, Acrobranch is a tree-top obstacle course that offers 3 different action-packed aerial courses designed to cater to different age-groups, heights and difficulty levels – each with its own challenges and obstacles. The courses take you through a tour with a variety of obstacles including tarzan swings, zip lines, bridges, nets and many more activities winding through the trees. Whether you’re a beginner or an adventure enthusiast, it promises to be a fun outing for all.
Nature lovers can explore a variety of hikes and trail walks in the Constantia area. The De Hel Nature Walk is a great option for beginners or those who wish to take just a short exploration through the forest which brings you along the Constantia green belts and takes just under an hour to finish. Another comfortable walk is the Diep River Trail which links to several other trails should you wish to extend your hiking time. It is an ideal option for those exploring with kids. These are just two of the many trails in the area, so do some research and pick the one that best suits your adventure goals and fitness level.
